How to Configure office 365 SMTP with Acadle?

Send emails from Academy with Office 365

Microsoft 365 or Office 365 is a subscription service that gives you access to a suite of features inclusive of email hosting. Let us find out how you can configure office 365 SMTP with Acadle with some simple steps: 

  1. Login to Microsoft 365 admin center ( ) and go to Users > Active Users. 


  1. Select the user, and in the flyout that appears, click Mail. 

  1. In the Email apps section, click Manage email apps. 


  1. Verify the Authenticated SMTP setting: unchecked = disabled, checked = enabled 


  1. When you're finished, click Save changes. 

  1. Click on the Multi-Factor Authentication 


  1. Select the user, from the user list. 

  1. Enable and Enforce the Multi-Factor Authentication 



  1. Go to office 365 account > Security Info ( ) 

  1. Click on Add method > Choose App Password > Add , That’s it your App password is created 




  1. Login to your Academy , Got to Admin > Email Settings > SMTP. 

  1. Use the below credentials to configure your office 365 SMTP with Acadle 
    driver : SMTP 
    host : 
    from email : your desired notification email address 
    from name : your desired notification name 
    port : 587 
    encryption : TLS 
    username : username / email address of selected user 
    password : app password created for selected user 

  1. Fill out the SMTP credentials, enable the switch and Save the changes
