Let us see Step-by-step instructions to set up a custom domain for your academy to improve your branding.
Go to Admin > Domain
Step 1:
Create SSL certificates for your domain
Add the domain required to run the academy
Save
Step 2:
Authenticate your domain
The verification record is used to authenticate the domain ownership
Add the record to the DNS setting of the domain
Please wait for 2-3 minutes for it to reflect
After is reflected, click on verify domain
Note:
These records are active only for 72 hours, please make sure you have added and verified the records within 72 hours.
Verification may take up to 48 hours based on your DLS provider
If the verification failed or timed out, please click on the refresh records button.
If you have configured CAA records in your domain DNS settings, please make sure you have added any of the following values to your CAA records. (CAA values: amazon.com/ amazontrust.com/ awstrust.com/ amazonaws.com)
Otherwise, you have to add any of the values to your DNS settings and wait until it gets reflected; after that, you have to click on the refresh record buttons to refresh the records.
Step 3:
Pointing your domain to the academy
Once it is verified, another record name is provided for pointing to your domain.
This record should also be added to DNS settings.
Please wait for 2-3 minutes for it to reflect.
Step 4:
Publish your domain
Once it is reflected, click on publish and save.
Note:
Please keep these two records permanently in your DNS settings for the auto-renewal of SSL certificates.
