Managing Engage in Acadle: A Step-by-Step Guide
This guide provides detailed instructions on how to create discussions, manage topics, and configure public access in the Engage section of Acadle.
1. Creating a New Discussion
To start a new discussion in Engage, follow these steps:
Log in to your Academy.
Navigate to the Engage page.
Click on New Discussion.
Select what you want to publish (Article or Photo).
Enter the following details:
Title
Content
Image (optional)
Topic
Tags
To add a new tag, type the word and press Enter. The tag will be created automatically.
2. Remove Tags
To delete a tag from discussions:
Open the discussion.
Click Edit.
In the Tags field, remove the unwanted tag.
Save the discussion.
2. Engage Topics and Settings
To manage topics and access settings:
Go to the Admin page.
Select Masters.
Click on Engage Topics.
Add new topics here to organise discussions.
In the same Masters section, click on Engage Settings.
Define who can access, post, or reply within Engage.
3. Configuring Public Access
To allow public access to Engage topics:
Go to the Admin page.
Select Configuration.
Scroll down to the Public Access section.
Enable Public Access for Engage.
Choose which topics should be made public.
Once enabled, the selected topics will be visible to anyone searching for them on the web.
